Inspirational researchers bringing STEM to life

Young Science Ambassadors are inspirational STEM researchers from leading Queensland universities who visit participating schools to work with students on their Challenge Tasks and support them to develop an investigation and group presentation. Ambassadors are inspiring role models for students, teachers and the community. They support implementation of Wonder of Science Challenger Task program, and judge presentations at the Wonder of Science student conferences. Ambassadors also have opportunities to participate in mentoring programs for high school students, workshops, panels and the Flying Scientists program.

The Ambassadors are selected PhD candidates or early career researchers from leading Queensland universities. They visit participating schools, work with students on their challenge tasks and support them in developing their STEM projects.
